Garlic & Ginger Paste

Ginger Paste

Makes: 200g

Prep Time: 5 mins

Cook time: 0 mins


Things you need:

  • 150g roughly chopped, peeled ginger

  • 50 ml water

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Steps:

  • Put all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blitz until you have a smooth paste.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 1 week or freeze for 4-5 months.

  • 150g peeled garlic cloves

  • 50 ml water

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Steps:

  • Put all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blitz until you have a smooth paste.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 1 week or freeze for 4-5 months.


Tips:

  • If you want this to last longer in your fridge leave out the water, add half a teaspoon of salt and double the oil. Will keep for months like this, however I like to make this fresher version and either freeze it or make it once a week. It doesn’t take long.
